The quantity of paper that we produce/receive daily is excessive, the effort and occupation surrounding paper is a burden and very expensive to all sectors.
Legislation of the Electronic Signature Law, 5761-2001 allows us to send and receive most of the current documents that we are familiar with directly to electronic mailboxes, and instead of filing them in folders and storing them in boxes, they can be digitally signed and stored in a digital archive, and thus save endless time, money and resources.
In accordance with streamlining the organizations and institutions, and according to the public’s needs, Comda, in cooperation with its subsidiary ComSign – the certificate authority (CA), has developed the ComsignTrust system. This system is built on the basis of the PKI infrastructure, is designated to electronically sending files signed by authorized electronic signature, as well as signing an organization’s existing files and storing them in secure electronic archives.
ComsignTrust exclusive added value, which differentiates it from other similar systems in the market, is the quality of its components which fully comply with the Electronic Signature Law and the legal demands for the signing methods which are required for the authorized signature (received legal admissibility), which are supplied to a system by ComSign – the CA. Our electronic signature application system allows applying electronic signing to information files in various formats, and in this way achieving the following:
Creating trust in the document producer and sender’s identity, and that of the person who authorized the information (performed by each position holder signing electronically)
Protecting the document’s completeness – preventing unknown changes and authorizing information (performed by electronic signing)
Creating trust in the time that the document was signed (performed by an electronic signing)

The system includes a number of built-in solutions in order to implement the aforementioned requirements. Among them are:
Increased protection of Windows or Unix files – creating a protected container that allows electronic signing, information about the signing time, organizational authorization management and encryption
Increased protection to PDF and Office documents – adding abilities to implement organizational authorization regulations, information and encryption reading/changing permission
Increased protection for all applications based on a Web, Microsoft or CAPI server.
Creating long-term “evidence” by creating an archive for files and libraries
Organizations are required to create “evidence” of the credibility of various types of information, whether in order to adhere to official laws and regulations, or for internal organizational requirements.
The system’s solution is the simple user-friendly ability to perform electronic signing and encryption of a file in any format (including data and picture files, such as TIFF). After signing, an archive document is received, resembling a ZIP file, which can be checked and the identity of the users involved in creating, changing and authorizing the file can be verified. In addition, encryption and information about the time the document was created and changed can also be integrated.
Protection for PDF documents, as well as Word and Excel forms
The existing ability to perform transactions between different organizations electronically is blocked by legal and regulator obstructions. This prevents many organizations from signing contracts, price quotes, invoices, various types of report, etc. electronically.

Document encryption is performed by a 256-bit AES algorithm. After encryption, changing, printing, cutting and pasting, opening after a certain time, etc. can be prevented.
Advanced user authentication ability
Using digital certificates requires the ability to check it at any stage and during any procedure.
The digital signature solution contains an advanced designated plug-in for Windows operating systems and applications, for immediately checking using CRL or OCSP. This component can be installed simply and the user interface is via a small balloon window, which contains the information regarding the certificate validity. This solution is Identrus certified and supports CAPI based applications.
Advanced protection server for services and applications requiring electronic signatures
When transferring data files, in certain cases a central server is required. This central server must contain Web-based user access ability, as well as standard access which organization users are familiar with.
The solution contains an advanced protection server, which allows central file signing, and sending them to external entities as email messages or HTTP pages.
This system provides a perfect solution and is tailored according to the customer’s needs.
